SUMMARY:Louise Hopkins Flying Fox Preview
DESCRIPTION:Louise Hopkins\, Intermediary\, 2018\, courtesy of the artist\nWe are delighted to announce our autumn exhibition Flying Fox\, a new temporary commission and exhibition by Louise Hopkins. The exhibition opens Saturday 8 September 2018\, 3-5pm – please join us then! \nThe exhibition is then open Thurs-Sat till Saturday 15 December 2018. \nThe first formal presentation of Hopkins’ work in a rural location\, Flying Fox is the outcome of a nine-month period of development by the artist\, bringing together a large-scale work of geometric abstraction made specifically for our gallery spaces and a group of ten new and recent works on paper to be installed in dialogue with it. \nOn the day of the Preview\, we have arranged free mini-bus pick-up on Sat 8 September to coincide with trains arriving at Lockerbie Station (serving Edinburgh) at 13.15pm\, and at Dumfries Station (serving Glasgow Central and Carlisle stations) at 2.00pm.
