Sarah Jane Scouten will lead a relaxing and informative herb walk from CAMPLE LINE at 11am, which will draw upon her passion for Scottish herbs and Scottish music, and celebrate the arrival of summer.
Bringing together folk song, wild plant identification and foraging and the ways they intersect, Sarah Jane will lead a walk exploring the common edible and medicinal plants that are found in our local hedgerows. She will talk about their therapeutic properties as well as about traditional folk songs that refer to them.
Starting a section of Cample Road, the walk will last about approx 45 mins. We will then come back to Cample and try our hand at making some simple teas.
