And don't miss

This spring, we invite you to participate in a writing project and online workshop with Victoria Miguel, a writer and specialist in the work of artist and composer John Cage, which explores Cage’s method of ‘writing through’ and draws on letters exchanged between the celebrated Scottish author and essayist Thomas Carlyle and the American writer Ralph Waldo Emerson. Details here

We were delighted to be able to make Mohammed-Ali Talebi’s beautiful film Willow and Wind available online for one week from 10-17 May. A replay of our live online discussion remains available via our Screenings At Home page.
Our second screening will take place in June and we look forward to announcing details very soon. Do keep in touch with us here

Don’t forget to download our 15 Reads, compiled by Jane McArthur, the chair of our Programme Group.

Touching on all corners of the world, the list of suggested reads includes Bruce Chatwin, George Eliot, Lucia Berlin, Robert Walser, Werner Herzog, Yuko Tsushima and more.

As our Engagement Assistant Lucy Dale was not able to lead her paper weaving workshop for children on Sat 11 April, she has written out a wonderful step-by-step guide to the process for download here or on our website. Enjoy and please let Lucy know how you get on by sending an email FAO Lucy to info@campleline.org.uk!

Our Book Group is going online for the time being! Why not join us on Zoom for our next read: Elin Willows Inlands (2020, Nordisk Books, 240 pages, paperback)
Wednesday 15 July, 7-9pm
