BSL exhibition tour of murmur, buzz, hiss and rub

The tour is free, but booking is essential

Join us for a BSL (British Sign Language) tour of Italian artist Chiara Camoni’s current solo exhibition murmur, buzz, hiss and rub. The tour will be led by Art Tour/Deaf Guide Trudi Collier, and will take in several of Chiara’s artworks, which range in scale from the monumental to the tiny. The tour runs from 2-3pm, followed by time for a cup of tea and a chat.

The tour will be delivered in British Sign Language (BSL). There will also be a BSL interpreter present. 

There will be a free minibus shuttle between Dumfries train station and Cample Line, departing the train station at 1.15pm and returning by 4.15pm. Please let us know by 6 November if you would like to book a seat.

ABOUT TRUDI

Trudi Collier is a deaf BSL user, and has been working with arts and heritage organisations since 2017 to create accessible tours and events for deaf BSL users across Scotland.

Trudi’s background is in psychology, working as an MBACP accredited psychological therapist for over 20 years in a variety of different settings. She has a personal passion and interest in contemporary art and art history, and has been working to improve access and share her interests with the deaf community in Scotland.

Trudi has worked with Aberdeen Art Gallery, Hunterian Gallery Glasgow, Royal Collection Edinburgh, National Galleries of Scotland, CAMPLE LINE, CCA Glasgow, Collective, Edinburgh Art Festival, Edinburgh Printmakers, Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, Talbot Rice Gallery, National Museum Scotland and the Royal Academy.
