Weaving workshop with Katie Russell

Tapestry weaver Katie Russell will lead a practical weaving workshop, enabling participants to draw on the natural environment as well as Standard Incomparable, a temporary collection of 65 weavings produced by weavers in 16 countries and brought together by artist Helen Mirra. Katie will discuss her own work and will demonstrate a number of techniques during the day. She will lead a relaxed workshop in which participants can explore processes and ideas.

Yarns and frames are provided. If participants wish to bring their own frames or materials they can do so. Suitable for all abilities.
