Majd Abdel Hamid returns to Cample on Sat 8 August when he will be in conversation with writer and curator Francis McKee.
Please join us for the opportunity to hear Majd talk about his current exhibition and his wider practice. You will also be invited to take a piece of Majd’s installation Fortune tellers, 2026, away with you.
Of his wish to gift the work to visitors and disperse it in this way, Majd has said: ‘ There is a necessity of joy a little bit to be honest. It’s something I think about a lot. What do we do at the moment? How can you produce art? And I feel these small pockets of joy can take us a long way and it’s crucial to maintain them.’
