Join award-winning poet, writer and memoirist Marjorie Lotfi at Cample to discover stories and poems for sheer enjoyment, and to look at how writers weave their words.

Like a book club, but with no homework. There are no pens, paper, or preparation required, only curiosity to listen, explore and discuss two pieces of writing – a poem, short story or other piece of prose – which will be shared every fortnightly meeting.

Marjorie will lead two Reading Round groups – one at Cample and one at Newton Stewart – on behalf of the Royal Literary Fund. Reading Round is a network of reading groups across the UK and has been running for ten years.
