This April, we are pleased to welcome Frank Hayes back to CAMPLE LINE for a spring Drawing for Enjoyment workshop, held alongside our current exhibition, The Unearthed by Anderson Borba.
For Enjoyment workshops offer the opportunity to take time out from busy lives to rediscover the joy of being creative, and to explore the practice of drawing together. Frank fosters an atmosphere where participants can build confidence and feel comfortable trying new things. Through experimenting with different media, styles and techniques, you’ll be encouraged to move beyond your comfort zone.
What to expect
The session will begin with a chance to briefly look at Borba’s exhibition, and in particular his use of collage. Frank will then provide a short introduction to the materials available and techniques that you can try, then it’s up to you!
This is an inclusive and supportive workshop with a focus on simply enjoying the process. All work is valid, all mistakes are useful, and all energy spent developing creativity is time well spent.
Suitable for all abilities. No previous experience is required.
